"The worst food is that of Walima where only the rich are invited and the poor are ignored."

(Bukhari Sharif, Volume 3, Page 88)

🕋 ISLAMIC GUIDE FOR THE WEDDING NIGHT

🌙 The Blessed Night Begins

Step 1: Enter with Salam

When the groom enters the room, first greet with Salam, inquire about well-being, and have a gentle conversation.

Step 2: Dua on the Forehead

The Prophet 🌹 said:

"When a person marries and goes to his bride on the first night, he should gently take a few hairs from her forehead with his right hand and recite this prayer:"

Translation:

"O Allah, I ask You for the goodness of her and the goodness within her, and the goodness of her nature. And I seek refuge in You from the evil of her and the evil within her, and the evil of her nature."

*(Abu Dawood, Volume 2, Page 150; Hisn-e-Hasin, Page 164)*

Step 3: Perform Wudu and Pray Together

If not in a state of ablution, perform Wudu and pray 2 rakats of Nafl prayer together in congregation:

  • The groom leads as Imam

  • The bride follows behind

Intention:

"I intend to pray 2 rakats Nafl prayer for gratitude, facing the Kaaba, Allahu Akbar."

Make this supplication after prayer:

"O Allah, we thank You for showing us this day, blessing us with this happiness, and granting us the ability to follow the Sunnah of Your Beloved Prophet* 🌹 *."

"O Allah, keep this happiness forever, grant us a life of love and harmony, and bless us with pious and obedient children. Ameen."

Step 4: Dua Before Intimacy

Before intimacy, recite this dua:

بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ، اَللّٰهُمَّ جَنِّبْنَا الشَّيْطَانَ
وَجَنِّبِ الشَّيْطَانَ مَا رَزَقْتَنَا

Translation:

"In the name of Allah. O Allah, keep Shaytan away from us, and keep Shaytan away from what You bless us with (children)."

(Bukhari Sharif, Volume 3, Page 85; Tirmizi Sharif, Volume 1, Page 557)

The Prophet 🌹 said:

"Whoever recites this dua at the time of intimacy, if Allah grants them a child, Shaytan will never be able to harm that child."

(Bukhari Sharif, Volume 3, Page 85; Tirmizi Sharif, Volume 1, Page 557)

💝 Important Clarification: A Common Misconception

Many people believe that bleeding during first intimacy is necessary to prove virginity. This is incorrect!

The Truth:

  • The hymen is a thin membrane that can tear due to various reasons:

    • Sports or physical activity

    • Accidents or falls

    • Menstruation

    • Natural causes

Islamic Ruling:

"If the hymen tears due to jumping, menstruation, injury, or age, the woman is truly a virgin (pure and chaste)."

(Tanwirul Absar; Fatawa Razviya, Volume 12, Page 36)

Hazrat Ayesha (RA) narrates that the Prophet 🌹 said:

"When a man takes his wife's hand to comfort her, Allah writes one good deed for him. When he lovingly puts his arm around her, ten good deeds are written. When he is intimate with her, it is better than the world and everything in it."

(Gunyatut Talebin, Page 113)

🚫 Forbidden Acts

Anal intercourse is strictly forbidden:

The Prophet 🌹 said:

"Allah will not look with mercy on the Day of Judgment upon the one who has anal intercourse with his wife."

(Bukhari Sharif, Tirmizi, Ibn Majah)

The Prophet 🌹 said:

"Whoever has intercourse with a woman or man through the anus has certainly committed disbelief."

(Abu Dawood)

Allah says:

"Your wives are your tilth. So come to your tilth as you wish, but send forth something good for yourselves."

(Kanzul Iman, Para 2, Surah Baqarah, Verse 223)

🌸 Quranic Permission

Allah Almighty says:

"It is made lawful for you to go to your wives on the nights of fasting."

(Kanzul Iman, Para 2, Surah Baqarah, Verse 187)

📿 'Azl (Coitus Interruptus)

'Azl means – Withdrawing during intimacy to prevent conception

Permissibility of 'Azl

Hazrat Jabir (RA) narrates:

"We used to practice 'Azl during the time of the Prophet* 🌹 *while the Quran was being revealed."

(Bukhari Sharif, Volume 3, Hadith 193, Page 101; Tirmizi Sharif, Volume 1, Hadith 1134, Page 583)

Condition of Permission

The Prophet 🌹 forbade 'Azl with a free woman (wife) without her permission.

(Ibn Majah Sharif, Volume 1, Hadith 1997, Page 539)

What is Destined Will Happen

A person came to the Prophet 🌹 and said:

"O Messenger of Allah! I have a slave woman with whom I practice 'Azl because I don't want her to become pregnant."

The Prophet replied: "If you wish, practice 'Azl, but whatever is destined will be born."

After some time, the same person returned and said: "She has given birth!"

The Prophet said: "I told you that whatever is destined will happen."

(Abu Dawood, Volume 2, Hadith 406, Page 154)

Natural Family Planning

Tip for You:

  • Conception is unlikely one week before menstruation and one week after purity

  • These are times when ovulation typically doesn't occur

👧 TREASURE YOUR DAUGHTERS

❤️ Love for Daughters

The Prophet 🌹 said:

"Whoever has a daughter and does not bury her alive, nor humiliates her, nor prefers his son over her, Allah will admit him to Paradise."

(Abu Dawood, Volume 3, Hadith 1705, Page 616)

The Prophet 🌹 said:

"Whoever raises two daughters until they mature, he and I will be close like this on the Day of Judgment."

(He joined his two fingers to demonstrate)

(Muslim Sharif)

⚠️ Warning Against Female Infanticide

The Prophet 🌹 said:

"The greatest sin is associating partners with Allah. Then the next greatest sin is killing your child for fear of poverty."

(Bukhari Sharif, Volume 3, Hadith 939, Page 345)

💔 Modern Tragedy

Today, science is misused through X-rays and sonography to determine the baby's gender. If it's a girl, the child is often aborted.

O believers! Fear Allah. He is aware of all your deeds.

Such people are murderers of their children and sinners. They will be punished on the Day of Judgment and deprived of Paradise.

There is no difference between a son and a daughter. Both are blessings from Allah.
